MinimEdit was designed and created by a minimalist artist ncoll36. The purpose of the website
is to allow users to create and customise their own minimalist wallpapers based. The following
information has been provided to explain how certain aspects of the website work. Please read carefully.

Control Panel
All the control panel items can be sorted. To do this, simple click and drag the group
heading. Each of these items are collapsible, so they can be opened and closed to make
more room. All these positions are saved for the next time.
The expand icon on the images is used to pop-out the image selectors to a larger version.
Image Selector
Pop-out
The pop-out image selector gives you are larger version of the image selector. This
window can be moved my clicking and dragging the heading. It can also be resized by
the bottom right of this window. The rest of the functionality works the same as
explained here.
Gallery Button
This will bring you to a new page where you can view shared images from other users.
Here you can vote on the ones you like. Click on the image to view the full resolution
of that image.
Share Button
This is the button located next to view gallery. This will share your image for other
people to view. Once shared it can’t be removed from the gallery.
Donate Button
Donations will help further the development of this website and show your support to
the developer. All donations are greatly appreciated.
Themes Button
This button allows users to select between a light and dark theme. In the future more
themes may be added to use if they are request.

Controls
This contains all the image and canvas controls. More information found here.
Background
This allows you to select the background colour. Click on the box and a colour selector will appear.
When changing the hex code of the colour manually, (either typing or pasting) press the enter key to apply it.
Images
This is where you add your images to the canvas. Simple click on the image you
want or click and drag it to the canvas. The search bar allows you to search by
the character’s name, English anime title, and Japanese anime title.
The plus is the contribute button, this will open a popup which allows you to
contribute your own images to the website. All images must be SVG file type and
less than 1MB. Ensure there is no background and the canvas fits around the image
exactly. Character/s must include full name, with a comma between multiple characters.
Images will then be sent for approval and not appear in the image selector until then.
Shapes
Here you can insert basic shapes to the canvas. To colour a shape, make sure
you have the shape selected first, then click on the colour box next the select
box, a colour select will then appear.
When changing the hex code of the colour manually, (either typing or pasting) press
the enter key to apply it.
Resolution
This allows you to select the final resolution of the image. Here you can select
from the most common resolution or enter your own custom size. When you hit the
download button in controls, then you will see the full resolution size. Until
then the canvas is made to fit your desktop window.

Liking
To like an image in the gallery, simply highlight over the image and in the top right
you will see a thumbs up button, click that.
Full Size
The gallery consists of thumbnail size wallpapers, to view the full size image simply
click the wallpaper. This will open a popup of the image. From here you can save the
wallpaper by “right clicking > save image as…”
Sorting
The gallery has a max of 30 wallpapers per page. To sort these images in the header there
will be a dropdown box with multiple options.
Reporting
If there are any inappropriate wallpapers in the gallery, these can be reported. To do this,
click on the wallpaper to bring up the full size, in the top left you will find an
explanation mark. Click this and report the wallpaper. This will then be sent to the admin
for moderation.
